- Central Mason Fire and EMS will conduct a live fire training burn at 130 East Lighthouse Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 8 to 5, with heaviest smoke and fire activity expected between noon and 5 on the 30th.

North Mason softball topped Bremerton 11-5 Friday. Sydney Imlay went 4-for-5 with a home run and 3 RBI; Addison Roy struck out 16. Bulldogs are 7-7. Shelton boys track came within a point of winning the Evergreen Conference meet, led by Madison Lohmeyer winning the 1500 and 3200. Shelton baseball fell to Aberdeen 14-5; Shelton softball shut out 10-0.
